Story:
Parents need to be acquainted with
that Pacific Rim is a near-future-set sci-fi battle thriller
from Pan's
Labyrinth administrator Guillermo Del Toro.
When a variety of massive alien creature rises from under the ocean, intent on
human destruction, war is waged, live are lost, and humans create giant robots
to combat the invading monsters. But when even the robots prove futile against
the coming apocalypse, two unlikely heroes are enlisted -- former pilot Raleigh
Becket (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested
trainee Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi) -- to operate a legendary machine that seems
to be humanity's last hope. This gripping thriller promises scary
computer-generated monsters and an extremely tense storyline full of intense
combat and lots of peril.
